Northridge Estates sits on land originally dedicated as a fruit orchard.  In the late 1970s the area was subdivided into just under 100 properties of 1/4 to 1/2 an acre in size.  These homes were purposefully constructed to be higher end homes with an attention to natural surroundings.  As such, Northridge has remained a highly coveted neighborhood through the years.
